Help Get The Turners To MD Anderson For Treatment
Dear Friends of Sam And Ashley Turner,
As you may know, Sam had surgery on both kidneys a couple years ago.
Over the holidays, he went in for his regular check up on his kidneys. Upon reviewing his tests, the doctors informed the Turners their findings that no one wants to hear: they have discovered another growth on Sam’s right kidney.
Unfortunately, right now health care providers in Sam’s area are backed up and can’t see him for pre-operation appointments for months before he can even begin to schedule his surgery procedure.
This is not acceptable.
Fortunately, Sam’s surgeon was able to email a friend at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas, a premier cancer treatment hospital, and they can see Sam the first week of February.
That’s where we come in.
His treatment will require several trips to MD Anderson.
Let’s help take the financial burden off of Sam and Ashley by using this fundraiser to help provide airfare and lodging costs so they can focus on the the consults, pre-testing and surgeries they are facing.
I hope you will join me to help the Turners so our friend Sam can get on the road to surgery and recovery as soon as possible.
