Help Firefighters Family who lost his Covid battle
Update: Tonight 9-1-2021 heaven gained an Angel. My brother passed due to Covid. Please continue to pray for our family and if you can donate it is much appreciated. The financial devestation will be great. His wife and children and our family are all devestated. Mark was only 53 years old. He was loved by so many. He gave all he had to his family and his community. Thank you for all prayers and support.
My brother, Mark Hilley, a 20+ year fire fighter/paramedic currently working as District Chief at the Gulfport Fire Department and as Battalion Chief at the Harrison County Fire Service is fighting for his life. Mark has been battling COVID for about 3 weeks now and has been hospitalized at Gulfport Memorial Hospital since August 18, 2021. In addition to COVID Mark has pneumonia in both lungs and a partially collapsed lung. It has been very touch and go for the last few weeks with his oxygen levels dipping dangerously low. He is equipped with a BIPAP machine set at 100% since his lungs can’t function for him and he can’t get the needed oxygen on his own.
Mark is a Marine veteran and is married with two children. He is a very devoted, dedicated, and loving husband and father. Mark is a hard-working man who never asks for help, so this experience is going to be very difficult for him. He is used to paying his own way and helping others without hesitation.
The staggering hospital bills that continue to rise daily and the loss of income will leave Mark and his family in financial stress. I ask that you help my brother by offering prayers and if capable any donation to help lessen the financial burden he and his family will endure is very much appreciated. Thank you for any help you can offer, and please share!
