UPDATE: my father has passed away, he is no longer suffering and is now at peace.
Unfortunately I didn't make it to Guam on time to be by his side . I am still trying to get to GUAM but this time it's to lay my father to rest.To ensure 100% of donations go to airfare, I’m also accepting:

My name is Melissa Taijeron. I’m in Denver, CO, and I’m homeless. This is my dad,For *34+ years he served as a Firefighter II* in Guam. But that was just his job title. To the community, he’s “dad/miget/uncle mike” the man who welcomes everyone in and takes them as family. The comedian who could make you laugh on your worst day. The one you never see angry,The one who gives without expecting anything back.
He’s a huge family man 7 girls, 2 boys. Oh yeah, we drive him crazy lol. But he taught us everything. Because of him I learned things I never thought I’d care about. He cares for everyone, whether he knows you or not. If you met him once, you'd always Wana be around him, you'll always remember him. He spent his life running toward danger, helping people & saving lives .he is now in hospice in Guam. Doctors first gave him 4 days. He fought past that. On 4/15/26 they said he wouldn’t make it through the day. He’s still here suffering, but still fighting.
I have no way to get to him. We don’t know if he has hours or days left. I’m begging for help to afford a last-minute flight from Denver to Guam so I can hold his hand and be by his sidebefore he goes.
My goal of $300p covers the flight, fees, and ground transport.
> He showed up for strangers his whole career. Please help me show up for him. If you can’t donate, sharing is free and means everything.
