Help Our Friends Recover from the Typhoon

Typhoon Goni recently struck Luzon Island, Philippines and the devastation is massive.

We have set this fund to help the people from Camarines Sur to recover from the disaster. The funds will go towards securing food, clothing, medicine and other necessities. We're also aiming to help them repair and rebuild their community.

The entire village has been flooded. Many people have lost their homes and are currently taking refuge on the second floor of their newly-built Church. I was personally involved in the funding and construction of the Church. As of right now, there are more than forty people sheltered there. They have no homes to return to, and they have lost a significant portion of their belongings.

The Church is built from brick and concrete. It is much more durable than the rest of the structures in the village, and this is what has allowed it to survive the flooding and provide shelter for the local population.

This is why we are trying to help them rebuild the village in a way that will allow them to remain safe, not just now, but also in the future as well. Ideally, we would like to see the entire village rebuilt with brick and concrete structures, rather than the flimsy constructions they were previously working and living with.

The Camarines Sur community is home to some of the most positive and amazing people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I just can't stand by and watch this disaster rob them of their way of life.

I am trying to do everything possible to help my dear friends from the Camarines Sur community recover, as I have had the pleasure of personally knowing some of them for many years. I am a UK-based entrepreneur and business owner. I met Roselyn more than ten years ago when she first joined my team. Over the years, I got to know her family and a lot about their vibrant culture and wonderful customs.

However, this task is not something I can shoulder alone, and that's why I'm here, asking for your support. Because together we can make a difference. We can help them rebuild their village, better and safer than before. We can help them recover from this disaster and continue moving forward to a brighter future.
