Dear Supporters, Fellow Eritreans, & Everyone
We are reaching out to you today with a plea for help on behalf of a brave mother and her young daughter who are facing immense challenges. After we heard about #Awet from community members we were deeply Saddened. Our dear sister, Awet Teweldebrhan Kidane, is a loving mother from #Eritrea currently residing in Uganda. She was born in Mendefera, Eritrea.
In her mid thirties, Awet has lost all hope, she has been battling severe depression and anxiety for years, enduring unimaginable hardships while trying to provide a stable life for her daughter. We found her clinging to life by a thread. Awet has been in and out of hospitals, seeking treatment for her mental health conditions and her overall health. The burden of medical bills has become overwhelming, leaving her in a precarious financial situation. Additionally, the ongoing costs of living expenses, including rent, have added to her stress, making it increasingly difficult to focus on her recovery and her daughter's well-being.
Her family lost hope and left her to face this life alone. Now, she looking help from all around the world.
We are launching this #GoFundMe campaign to rally support for Awet and her daughter during this critical time.
The funds raised will primarily be allocated towards:
1. *Hospital Treatment Bills:*
Awet requires ongoing medical treatment for her depression and anxiety. In addition, she has regular injections she takes for tbe pain she feels throughout her body. Your contributions will help cover the expenses of medications, and hospital visits, ensuring she receives the care she urgently needs.
2.*Living Expenses:*
Basic necessities such as rent, utilities, and groceries have become unmanageable for Awet due to her health challenges. Your support will provide her with stability and alleviate the financial strain, allowing her to focus on her recovery journey.
3. *Daughter's Health Annual Check-Up:*
Her daughter is found to be very malnutrition for her age group. Every child deserves access to proper food & healthcare. With your help, we aim to cover the costs of annual health check-ups for Awet’s daughter, ensuring her well-being and peace of mind.
4. **School Fees:** Education is essential for a child's future. Your contributions will assist in covering school fees for Awet's daughter, ensuring she continues to receive quality education without interruption. Your generosity will make a significant difference in the lives of Awet and her daughter. Her daughter has stopped school, so whatever money left can go to grocery and pain killers
By coming together as a community, we can provide them with the support they desperately need. Our fundraising goal is $25,000, and every donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to achieving it.
