Help Rebecca Empower Young Math Minds Across 9 Schools

Hi friends, my name is Rebecca, and I have the privilege of supporting math instruction across nine elementary schools every single week. I work side-by-side with teachers and school leaders to strengthen math education, analyze student data, and ensure every child, whether they need a little extra push or a bit more support, gets what they need to thrive.

I create detailed data spreadsheets for each school, meet with leadership teams to review progress, and help design action plans tailored to students’ needs. ‍ I lead professional development, offer one-on-one coaching, and conduct instructional walks through every K–5 math classroom to ensure high-quality teaching is happening every day. I also work directly with small groups of students, helping them meet critical benchmarks and build confidence in math.

This work is deeply rewarding, but also physically demanding. I travel between 2–3 schools daily, carrying materials and tech tools that help me do my job efficiently. Recently, I experienced a serious fall while on campus, injuring my knee, shoulder, and elbow. I now rely on a brace and cane, and I’m undergoing physical and occupational therapy twice a week.
