This message is to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support over this ordeal. Eliana's 10th birthday would have been on September 27th. A celebration in her honor will take place on Sunday, September 29th (3pm - 6pm).

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Eliana, who bravely battled cancer for 17 months. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19th in her bed – at home -, as promised by her parents.

Eliana, at just 9 years old, touched the lives of many of us with her sweet smile and her delicate presence.

Eliana leaves behind her 2 younger siblings, and her beloved cat Coco. Her family is now facing this tremendous loss and no word can heal the pain.

In times like these, the support of our community is and will be invaluable. We ask that you keep Eliana's family in your thoughts and prayers, as the 4 of them need comfort and understanding.

Eliana’s body will be returning to her grandparents’ place in France to rest in a peaceful countryside environment. Memorial arrangements will probably happen for the US community in September, around what should have been Eliana’s 10th birthday. We will organize initiatives (e.g., planting a tree) to celebrate her life and ensure that her spirit lives on in our community.

Eliana’s parents are still facing the difficult task of covering remaining medical expenses and funeral costs. You have done so much… yet we kindly ask for your support to help alleviate some of the financial burden they are enduring.

Your contributions will go directly towards honoring Eliana's memory and supporting the family during this difficult period.

We extend our deepest condolences to all who knew and loved Eliana. She will be dearly missed.
