Hello friends and family,

On January 14th my mother Donna sensed that something was wrong and checked herself into E.R. After a rigorous week of tests and a long hospital stay she was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme brain cancer (gbm).

I would not be the woman I am today without my mom’s drive, passion, and dedication to hard work. She has never been afraid to take a risk and make her dreams a reality. From building and racing stock cars, to traveling the country, to building a 40+ year long career in the service industry - she has always found motivation in making people happy and turning challenging moments into opportunities for creativity and teamwork.

On January 26th my mom was released from the hospital and has taken charge of her current diagnosis. With her family’s support, she has chosen not to undergo radiation therapy and all of the traumatic side effects that come with it. She has once again decided to face a horrible situation with bravery and focus on her dreams and quality of life.

Now she needs your help to make her final dreams come true. She wants to spend her remaining time comfortable with a care team and her beloved dog - a simple wish that unfortunately requires significant financial assistance. After a life lived in service to others, I hope we can find it in our hearts to follow her example and help contribute to the dignified end of life experience that she deserves.
