Help Cody Play Basketball in Barcelona

Cody has always dreamed of playing basketball, his hard work and dedication has granted this outstanding opportunity to play globally at only 12 years old. He has been invited to the EYB World Cup Championship in Barcelona Spain. This opportunity is the chance of a lifetime and a dream for Cody. Cody has risen through adversity every step of the way, he has overcome learning disability and other disadvantages and yet maintains a goal to be one of the first in our family to receive multiple college scholarship offers. This opportunity to play globally will help solidify that goal. This support thus far from family and friends has turned Cody into a basketball enthusiast. Despite living in an apartment complex with no basketball goal, Cody made a way to become the outstanding player that he is today. He practices tirelessly at a neighbor's house until dark, he watches tape and videos and apply learned techniques every chance he gets. Cody is a tall growing boy that now stands at 5 ft. 9 inches tall. He is a athletic, dedicated and determined young player. Now, that Cody has been selected by the USA Youth Ambassadors to represent his age group in Barcelona, Spain. We are seeking support to cover the costs of the flights as the dates are really close and now are higher in cost as well as additional fees and accommodations. The trip is scheduled for June 10th to June 16th, 2025. Your support will help Cody achieve his dream and represent his country on an international stage. We as a family is supporting Cody's AAU Summer league which requires transportation, hotels, gas and food. So at this time we do not have the additional funds to send him and 1 chaperone to Spain.
