Please donate to save Casper with a Life Changing Surgery

Hi my name is Shan,

I’m helping fundraise for this ‘Lovable Lump’ who is a rescue pup called Casper

He has come along way and didn’t exactly have the best start in life as a puppy.

Poor Casper took a turn for the worse recently as both his back legs simultaneously became lame and he is now unable to walk.

This condition has been undiagnosed until now.

I’m seeking help from many orthopaedic specialists who can perform this procedure.

Casper urgently requires this life changing surgery on both his knees. Unfortunately the pain relief medication provided isn’t helping ease his pain.

The condition he suffers from is called Bilateral Cruciate Ligament Disease.

He urgently requires implants in both his knees which will give him a second chance at a life being able to walk again and most importantly live a happy and pain free life.

Casper has been a sweet natured lovable boy who has touched many hearts with his story. I can’t express the amount of gratitude I have for meeting compassionate and understanding people I’ve met along the way who have actively played a part in helping me with Casper.

I care very deeply about animals especially the ones I help rescue and rehabilitate.

I do what I can to help many animals in need whether it’s being called out to rescue and foster.

As much as it’s hits me financially and can be physically demanding.

It is deeply humbling and rewarding to be able to see the progress they make participating actively giving them all a chance at a happy ending.

I genuinely wouldn’t ask unless I had the means to do this myself but unfortunately I’m not in the position to financially cover the cost upfront of £7,500 for the surgery alone in such a short time.

I have deeply expressed to the vet both Casper’s circumstances and my finances. Sadly, I do not have the funds to cover this; neither will his insurance cover him for this condition.

Ultimately, I’m at a loss and will try my best to help give him a fighting chance as this surgery can save him rather than the worse case scenario putting him to sleep to prevent him suffering further.

However, after explaining to the vets he is a rescue and his story the vets have agreed to reduced this cost down to £5,500 if I can raise this for this surgery and operate as soon as possible and I then can have a extension agreement to pay the remaining costs for medication and Post Operation X-Ray in instalments after his operation.
