Hi everyone, and thank you for taking a moment to read our story. Our beloved cat Bulochka (we call him Bulka, Bulya— “Cinnamon Bun”) is currently recovering from a life-threatening bladder blockage that required emergency veterinary treatment. The expenses for his care, medications, and special prescription food are overwhelming for us. We financed the emergency care through CareCredit so he could be treated right away, but the costs continue to add up. His doctors are monitoring him closely, and if the blockages continue, he may need a surgery in the future, which could be very expensive.
Bulochka’s story began in Ukraine. I adopted him from a shelter when he was only 3 months old — a tiny, terrified kitten who spent his first week hiding under the bed until he slowly learned to trust me. He later survived FIP and lost one eye during that fight, but remained incredibly gentle and affectionate. Because of the war and several moves, stress has been difficult for him, and recently another big life change triggered this severe bladder episode. Despite everything, Bulochka is strong and loving. He still cuddles, eats, and stays close to us even while recovering, and we want to give him every chance to heal safely and comfortably.
If you are able to support or simply share this fundraiser, it would truly mean the world to us. Every bit of help goes directly toward his ongoing treatment and recovery. Thank you for taking the time to read Bulochka’s story and for caring about our little cinnamon bun!
