Our father Lucian was the kindest, funniest, strongest person you’d ever meet. Born on March 21, 1973, he was a proud US Army veteran, a loyal friend, and above all, a devoted father. He faced health challenges since his first stroke in 2017, but he never gave up. He always told us that his children were all he cared about, and he couldn't imagine life without us.
On March 16, while in Vietnam, my father suffered another stroke. My siblings Jada, Aspen, Zion, my wife Teanna, and I, started this GoFundMe to help us travel from the United States to be with him and support his medical needs. We are so grateful that we were able to come together in Vietnam and spend precious time with him. He passed away on March 28th, surrounded by the people who loved him most.
Now, we are focused on getting home and bringing him with us. The funds from new donations will help cover four one-way tickets from Vietnam to the United States, the full cremation process, including everything required to bring his urn home, and the costs of his funeral and memorial service.
My siblings and I are truly heartbroken and doing our best to navigate through this together. We are so deeply grateful for every person who has shown up for our family during this time. Your kindness will help us honor our father's memory and give him the farewell he deserves.
Pops may be physically gone, but he will be with us every day.
