Hello, I'm Jorge Sibauste, reaching out with a heavy heart and a plea for your help. My beloved brother Juan Carlos Sibauste's life was tragically cut short in Santa Bárbara, Antioquia, where he had been building a new chapter in his life. Despite his dreams of a brighter future, he fell victim to a heinous crime that shook our family to its core.

After six years of travel and making lasting connections in Colombia, my brother decided to make it his permanent home, enticed by the promise of a better and more affordable life. He took an early retirement from his job, sold his property, and invested in a business, with plans to contribute positively to the local community.

Just six months into his new life, he faced a nightmare beyond imagination. Burglars broke into his home, subjected him to torture, and stole from him in the most brutal manner. Despite having video evidence, the local authorities have been slow to act, leaving us desperate for justice.

We have to bring his body back to the United States but the financial burden has been overwhelming. Additional expenses such as funeral costs, repatriation costs, and legal fees to pressurize the authorities all add up to an estimated $40,000. That's where we need your support!
