Help Bridge Digital Divide for Underserved K12 and their Fam
Tax deductible
As we celebrate 25 years of service, The On It Foundation continues to provide free computers and host empowering STEM/STEAM community events for underserved families. Now, more than ever, your support is crucial to help us Bridge the Digital-Divide for low-income students.
The On It Foundation is a National 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free computers, computer training, discounted Internet, and STEM/STEAM education to low-income families with students in grades K-12 who qualify for free or reduced lunch, attend public school, and reside in the United States. Our mission is simple: ALL services and resources we provide are completely free to ALL recipients and their families.
The Challenge:
In the United States, there are over 72 million children. Shockingly, 41% come from low-income families, and nearly 60% of these students lack access to a working computer at home. This puts them at a severe disadvantage when it comes to education, skill development, and future opportunities such as job options and advancing in Emerging Technologies such as AI, Data Science, Robotics, or Cybersecurity. Our recipients deserve the same access to technology and learning as their peers!
Technology Touches Every Area of Life:
GREEN: The On It Foundation is a proud member, recycling partner, and expert in computer refurbishing and electronic reuse, promoting sustainability through technology.
HOUSING: We collaborate with organizations supporting families in transition, individuals experiencing homelessness, and youth facing housing insecurity to provide computers that enhance education, skill development, and homeschooling opportunities.
FOOD INSECURITIES: All of our K-12 recipients qualify for free or reduced lunch programs, accounting for 100% of our computer donations within the U.S. We also extend support to those on SNAP benefits, broadening our reach to include more vulnerable communities.
SPECIAL NEEDS: We provide specialized technology, such as modified keyboards and ergonomic chairs, to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, ensuring they have the tools for success.
Our Impact:
For 25 years, The On It Foundation has been dedicated to making a tangible difference by:
- Donating free computers to eligible families with K12 students.
- Offering free onsite and virtual STEM/STEAM events that equip students with the skills needed for tomorrow's workforce such as AI, NFT, Robotics, and more.
- Providing free career training, technological certifications, and employment services through our Super Champions 2024 Initiative.
We Need Your Help to Keep Going:
Your donation directly empowers low-income students by providing the tools they need to succeed. With your generous contribution, we can:
- Expand our reach to more families in need.
- Host additional STEM/STEAM events and career training programs.
- Continue offering all of our services at “no cost” to our recipients and their families.
Our vision is bold, but together, we can make it a reality. With your support, we can bridge the digital divide and equip the next generation with the skills they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving technological world.
