In the early morning on May 8, Braylon Johnston, an angel on earth, left us to become an angel in Heaven. His Daddy Brad carried his lil’ man dressed in his Superman PJs for the very last time as he, family and friends who had gathered with him all that night said their goodbyes...

Such an amazing little boy, Braylon, 8 years old, sadly was born with Bilateral Open Lip Schizencephaly, Hydrocephalus and Septo-Optic Dysphasia, which prevented him from doing most of the things little boys do... but anyone who has met him or even heard of him knows that his challenges could never keep him from smiling that infectious smile or laughing or showing you he loved you with those eyes.

Braylon was and still is the center of the universe to Brad, his Daddy. Always putting Braylon first, Brad has been the greatest Dad, going above and beyond, being his advocate, driving 3 hours one way to get the medicines he needed, getting his wheelchair, stander, special car seat... taking such loving care of his little boy for all these years. Brad is SuperDad and he has set the bar high!

Brad and Braylon had so much love and support from family and friends. Some friends have become like family. Braylon was especially lucky to have so many great women in his life and he was a big influence in their lives. Haley Cline was and is Brad’s love and support. Braylon’s DD (Brad’s Mom) and his aunts Holly and Cortney loved him unconditionally throughout this. They supported Brad and Braylon through this journey with their SuperBray.  For 8 1/2 years their world WAS Braylon. He changed them forever!

This special little boy was loved by SO many,  even people he never met. He is now in Heaven doing all the “boy things” he deserves to do.

Braylon had no Life or Medical insurance due to his serious conditions. Brad fought hard and was only very recently able to get Bray on a program to help medically.
