Help Ben Rebuild A Home: Lahaina Wildfire

Hi my name is Shelby, and I am here asking our community to support our friend Ben Freeman who has recently lost everything to Maui’s devastating brush fires. This includes his home and all of his personal belongings, his Tacoma and his beloved fishing boat. The only thing he has left is a backpack with a few clothes inside.

Ben was one of the first people my husband and I had the pleasure of getting to know while living on the island, and we consider him a life long friend.

The most devastation the Island has seen on the West side of Maui in Lahaina. Ben lived and worked in this area and has lost his home, car, and all other belongings. Ben has also lost his job due to the devastation that Maui’s harbor has faced. It’s been Ben’s passion to explore the ocean, and has chartered many trips for tourists, family and friends alike.

Ben is a kind and generous soul who needs our support right now. The money we raise for him will go towards him establishing work, transportation and immediate essentials. Please consider donating and help him start over.
