Help Becky with Expenses due to Left Leg Levi
Donation protected
Hey everyone, I’m Craig and my mother is Becky. On December 14th she fell and dislocated her left knee causing damage to that leg’s arteries and nerves. This lead to a 10 hour emergency surgery to repair the artery overnight December 15th into 16th. Unfortunately on January 4th during a surgery to clean up the wound they discovered an infection in her leg and that part of her calf muscle had died. This new finding meant that she needed to have the lower part of her leg amputated. On January 11th, after nearly a month in the hospital, they did the amputation surgery and she is now an above the knee amputee. Her spirits are good and she’s ready to get into rehabbing and start what will now be her new normal. She has already been out of work for over a month as of writing this and we are not entirely sure when she will be able to return.
Becky works for a local fire department and really enjoys helping the community along with her coworkers outside of work. She plays Mrs Clause during the holiday season for the children and has driven one of the vans for the Fourth of July celebration.
This fund has been created to help cover any of the existing and upcoming medical and life expenses that will arise during her recovery and rehabilitation. This is an accident that will affect the rest of her life so any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
