When we first started this fundraiser, our goal was clear: to evacuate Bashar and his family to safety.

But as the war rages on and the borders have remained closed for the last 100 days,

our hopes for escape have been shattered.

Now, our focus has shifted to something even more immediate and essential; helping them survive each day in Gaza.

 

Bashar is just a child, but his world has been turned upside down by the horrors of war. He and his family are trapped in a place where basic necessities like food, clean water, and safety are no longer guaranteed.

They are not just battling the violence around them, they are fighting to stay alive.

The situation is dire. Every day is a struggle to find enough food to keep their strength up, clean water to drink. The trauma and fear weigh heavily on Bashar and his family, but they are holding on, hoping that help will come.
