Ataley is an energetic 11-year-old who loves to sing and dance, bringing joy to everyone around her. She was born with a rare PAX6 Mutation, which has caused corneal dysgenesis, bilateral aniridia, sensory nystagmus, and low vision in both eyes. Despite these challenges, Ataley’s spirit remains bright and resilient. Recently, her family learned that she is now facing even more difficulties—elevated glaucoma and a separating lower lens quadrant in her right eye. This means she needs urgent surgery to preserve her vision and quality of life.
Her family has been working tirelessly with specialists at UW, Seattle Children’s, and Harborview to give Ataley the best possible care. However, the costs of ongoing treatments, surgeries, and travel are becoming more than the family can manage alone. Every contribution will go directly toward Ataley’s medical expenses, helping her get the surgery she needs and allowing her to continue being the vibrant, joyous child she is.
Your support, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference for Ataley and her family. Please consider helping them through this challenging time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
