In November 2020 Anthony contracted Covid. Anthony received his first Covid vaccination in July of 2021 and his second on August 17, 2021. Two days later on August 19, 2021 he was hospitalized due to sever breathing problems. During his six days in the Hospital they discovered he has multiple blood clots in his lungs which in turn has enlarged the right side of his heart. The testing aged some of the clots to when he had Covid. They determined the new blood clots could be due to his Pfizer vaccination. They started him on a three-month regimen of blood thinners to stop any new clots from forming and to help his body absorb the older blood clots.

Anthony attempted to go back to his Full time Job on light duty and was let go because of his health.

Anthony was administrating his own blood thinner shots at home and unfortunately the blood clots did not respond to the medication.

December 7, 2021 Anthony’s Severe Pulmonary Hypertension warranted his Doctor to use a catheter going through his thigh through his heart to directly inject medication into his lungs. Unfortunately again no response.

The next option is for Anthony to be accepted in a program in San Diego California at The University Cal San Diego. This program offers two surgical options for Pulmonary Thromboendartectomy (PTE).
