HELP ANGELA HEAL FROM TOXIC MOLD ILLNESS

Donation protected
HI, I'M ANGELA'S MOM, SUE.

Angela is one of my favorite people. She's funny, big-hearted, and wise. She's an award-winning writer, a tango dancer, and a Zen student. She dotes on her two kitties, Sherlock and Lila, and thinks it's silly to go a day without chocolate.

Angela is in a devastating health crisis and needs help now.

Last year, she lost literally everything she owned to toxic mold. She had to leave her home, friends, family, and kitties and go to the desert to try to heal.

We need your financial support. Every donation is helpful and deeply appreciated. Please donate here or via    THANK YOU!

Angela has been living out of her car, homeless and unable to work, for 15 months.

She's alone, extremely sick, and living a grueling marathon of full-time survival mode at a level most people can't fathom. And now, the Coronavirus pandemic has made things even more difficult and dire.

We have a life-saving offer for her to stay with friends on pristine land for a few months. This would give her the stability she so desperately needs to heal.

But to get there, Angela needs money for an off-road capable car, camping gear, and other basic needs for a few months. And our funds have run out.

Here's Angela's friend, Solona talking about her success healing with this approach (and meeting Angela):

Can you help Angela get to her safe haven, so she can start to heal and rebuild after this devastating crisis?

THE BACKSTORY: SICK FOR A DECADE

For the past ten years, I've watched helplessly and heartbroken as Angela's health steadily declined.

She saw countless doctors, specialists, cardiologists, naturopaths, and alternative health practitioners. Each one gave her a new diagnosis and treatment plan. Some worked -- for a while. But none got to the root cause of her dozens of symptoms.

By last summer, Angela was barely able to get out of bed most days.

FINALLY, THE ANSWER: MOLD

Angela finally got sick enough to discover the root cause of ALL of her symptoms: she suffers from Toxic Mold Illness (also called biotoxin illness, CIRS, or ME/CFS)

This progressive, potentially fatal illness affects every system in the body. You might not have heard of it, but it's increasingly common. And it is devastating.

Because it took us so long to identify it, Angela's symptoms are extreme, including: paralysis, cardiac arrhythmia and tachycardia, migraine, nosebleeds, extreme disorientation and fatigue, aphasia (the inability to find words--devastating for a professional writer), vision problems, digestive disorders, blinding pain, suicidal depression, and much more.

Angela tried mainstream approaches to healing from mold. But after a year, she was sicker than ever. She needed a more powerful approach. Thankfully, she found it.

BREAKTHROUGH! A CLEAR, PROVEN PATH TO HEALING

After careful research, Angela found a clear, proven path that has helped others like her heal.

It's extremely difficult. But we think it's the best and only way to save her life. It's called extreme mold avoidance.

Healing is simple: you just have to give up everything.

Healing from toxic mold illness is actually very simple: just avoid toxic mold.

The bad news: that’s a LOT harder than it sounds. Toxic mold and associated outdoor toxins are everywhere, due to widespread pollution.

These toxins that you or I might never notice cause immediate, debilitating symptoms for Angela and other "moldies" like her. She must go off-grid to rural, pristine areas to heal.

For the past 15 months, Angela has crisscrossed the Southwest in search of these pristine spots. She's slept in her car in sub-freezing temps, camped at state parks and off-grid in forests and deserts, and resorted to hotels when it was just too bitterly cold.

Camping might sound like fun, but when your body is wracked with pain, you have no bed, nobody to make you a cuppa soup, and going into town for water and fresh blankets means getting even sicker ... it's no picnic.

It's a grueling ordeal, placing a chronically ill person in a marathon of full-time survival mode.

The good news: when she's able to stay in clear air, her health is better than ever! Symptoms she's had for years are vanishing. THIS IS WORKING!

WE NEED FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM OUR COMMUNITY

We had no clue how hard or expensive this would be. Mold illness and mold avoidance are financially devastating, and there's little to no support for them from insurance companies or support organizations.

Imagine losing every single book, t-shirt, sentimental photograph, and stick of furniture you owned. That's what happened to Angela last summer. But unlike a flood or fire, renter's insurance doesn't cover a dime of mold-related losses.

Angela has driven over 100,000 miles in the past 15 months, learning to identify clear areas (and getting displaced from them). This is common for mold avoiders in their first year, and it has cost a TON for gasoline, tires, car repairs, rental cars, insurance, regularly changing out clothing and bedding, camping equipment, etc.

Worst of all, Angela hasn't had the health stability or sufficient internet access to work for the past 15 months.

The locations clear enough for her to function are usually outside of cell service. And survival has had to become her full-time job. She's had to temporarily shut down her successful online writing and coaching business. This is a huge blow.

I had a small retirement savings, but that's gone now. Our credit cards are maxed. We desperately need help.

CORONAVIRUS MAKES THIS EXTREMELY URGENT

Angela is immuno-compromised and MUST go farther off-grid to protect herself. But that's harder than ever to do.

With state parks and campgrounds closed, she has only one place to go, but she needs help getting there.

HOPE IS ON THE HORIZON!

A once-in-a-lifetime gift has come: an offer for Angela to spend a few months with friends on a piece of pristine land. This ‘long term’ stay in a clear place would be a total game-changer for Angela! It would give her the stability she desperately needs to heal and get back to work.

To get where she needs to be, Angela needs money for:

* An off-road capable vehicle with 4-wheel drive (she literally can't get there without it)

 * Camping equipment

 * Food, propane, clothing, and gasoline

 * Minimum payments on the debt we have accrued over the past 15 months

 * Emergency medical insurance, car insurance, and bills so she can rest and recover until she can work again.

WITHOUT FINANCIAL HELP, ANGELA’S JOURNEY IS AT A STANDSTILL

Angela is resilient and tough. I'm inspired by how positive and generous she has remained, facing such extreme challenges. But she is exhausted and needs a place to rest and heal.

Until she has the funds for an off-road-capable vehicle and the other supplies she needs to get to this pristine land, Angela will keep spinning her wheels: bouncing from one bad spot to another, barely surviving.

As a mother and a person who has supported others’ causes all of my life, I am asking you to give whatever you can to help my daughter.

With your help, we know she can make it through this crisis, regain her health, and resume what she most longs for: being of service to others.

We urgently need your help now. Please donate what you can and SHARE this page with others. Thank you, thank you!
