YOUR SUPPORT WILL ALLOW HER TO WALK WITHOUT PAIN AND ADD YEARS TO HER LIFE!
Angel had a mass on her paw that we were initially told was benign. It never seemed to bother her. Interestingly, the mass looked almost identical to the ones her four-legged sister had all over her body, which we had removed just 2.5 months ago.

About a month ago, though, another mass appeared near the first one, and we decided it was time for a check-up with her regular vet. To our supersize, the vet immediately suspected an aggressive form of cancer and recommended amputation. Amputation! This wasn’t an option for Angel because of her spinal issues, which already weaken both of her back legs. Losing a leg would only worsen her condition, increasing the pain in her spine and making even the simplest tasks, like getting up, walking, or going to the bathroom, incredibly difficult. We knew we needed a second opinion.

Thankfully, another doctor gave us a better option: removing the two masses and using a skin graft to close the wounds. He ordered some tests and diagnostics to prepare for surgery and suggested a detailed post-op plan depending on the type of cancer.

Right now, Angel's masses are growing, and it’s becoming more painful for her to walk. Sadly, we’ve run out of funds to schedule her surgery. In the past three months, we’ve spent over $9,000—$6,500 for the mass removals on Angel’s sister and $3,500 on Angel’s diagnostics and care. And this is just the start of what we need to do for her. She’s so loved by everyone, and we’re asking for donations to help cover her surgery and post-op care. Angel still has so much fight in her, despite her pain and limitations.

We are determined to bring our Angel back to her usual self—talkative, stubborn, and demanding. If you’ve ever owned a husky, you know exactly what we mean. You miss the craziness when they stop being their bold, spirited selves. We’re so grateful for any support and love you can show Angel and our family during this time.
In advance, we thank you for your Donations.
Some Days are harder... than others

Medical Procedures Done So Far:
Angel has undergone several critical diagnostic procedures to assess her overall health and readiness for surgery, including:

  • Complete blood work to evaluate her organ function and overall health.
  • X-rays to check for any potential metastasis or abnormalities in her bones, chest, or other organs.
  • Urine culture and analysis to detect any infections that might complicate surgery.
  • Adrenal stress test to ensure her stress hormone levels are balanced and optimized for both surgery and recovery.
  • Ultrasound to examine her internal organs and ensure no other hidden issues are present.
The fundraiser is for pre-surgical, surgical, and post-surgical treatments. The family is overwhelmed with vet bills, have two dogs requiring urgent medical attention.

Here's what the pre-surgical and surgical plan for Angel looks like:

  • Pre-Surgery Treatment: Angel will undergo supportive treatments designed to strengthen and prepare her body for the stress of surgery.
  • Surgical Removal of Masses: The two cancerous masses will be carefully removed, followed by skin grafting to promote proper healing of the affected areas.
  • Overnight Hospitalization: Following the surgery, Angel will need round-the-clock monitoring for several days to ensure she is stable and receiving the best post-operative care.
  • Pathology: The removed masses will be sent to the pathology lab to identify the specific type of cancer and determine the best follow-up treatment, such as chemotherapy or radiation.
  • Post-Surgery Recovery: After surgery, Angel will require close monitoring, medications, and frequent follow-up visits to ensure that the skin grafts heal properly. The healing process can be slow and delicate when skin grafts are involved.
  • Additional Treatment: Based on the pathology results, Angel may need further treatments, such as chemotherapy or radiation, to ensure the cancer is fully addressed.
