Help Amani to Arrive and study at The University of Maryland

Salam (peace) everyone,

My name is Amani, and I am a mother of two children currently enduring the harrowing conditions of bombings in Gaza. Not long ago, we considered ourselves to be the ideal family. I was pursuing my Master's degree in Physics, while my husband, having completed his Master's in Finance in the UK, worked at the same university where I studied. We were a portrait of happiness.

However, the war on Gaza has turned our world upside down. Our home, university, workplace, and the school our children attended have all been reduced to rubble.

Tragically, many of our loved ones have lost their lives. We are now struggling to survive in a place that has regressed hundreds of years, without essential life necessities such as water, electricity, shelter, security, safety, and healthcare.

Despite these circumstances, my husband and I are determined to provide our children with a peaceful life and the opportunity for a brighter future. I have worked hard and been admitted as a PhD student at the University of Maryland, Washington DC, USA. This is an incredible opportunity for me to complete my education, escape the horrors of war, and help other students.

We humbly ask for your support in our fundraising efforts to cover the costs of leaving Gaza, other expenses of arriving in the USA, and setting up our new life. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to our dream of providing a better future for our family.

اسمي أماني وأم لطفلين وأعيش حاليًا في ظل ظروف القصف المروعة في غزة. طالبة ماجستير في الفيزياء، وزوجي يعمل في الجامعة التي أدرس بها في غزة، الحمد لله كانت أمورنا مستقرة إلى حد ما، ولكن هذا انتهى مع بداية الحرب على غزة.

لقد تحول منزلنا وجامعتنا ومكان عملنا ومدرسة أطفالي إلى ركام، والعديد من الأحباء من افراد عائلاتنا والأصدقاء اصبحوا في دار الاخرة، ونحن الآن نكافح من أجل البقاء في مكان تدهورت فيه كل مقومات الحياة وتراجعت مئات السنين، فلا وجود لضروريات الحياة مثل الماء والكهرباء والرعاية الصحية، ونزحنا عدة مرات وحاليا نعيش في خيمة لا تقينا برد الشتاء ولا حر الصيف،

وعلى الرغم من هذه الظروف، نحن مصممون على توفير حياة سلمية لأطفالنا وعملنا بجد وقبلت كطالب دراسات عليا في قسم الفيزياء بجامعة ميريلاند، بواشنطن العاصمة، آمل من الله أن تساعدوني لتحقيق هدفي والوصول لجامعتي من خلال المشاركة بمبلغ بسيط لتغطية تكاليف خروجنا من قطاع غزة والوصول للجامعة.

نثق بالله أولا وبمساعدتكم ثانياً بأننا سنعود يوماً ما لوطننا ونساعد طلبة آخرين ونكمل مسيرة العلم والتعليم. أي مساهمة؛ مهما كانت صغيرة، ستقربنا خطوة من حلمنا في توفير مستقبل أفضل لعائلتنا.
