Hi everyone! My name is Aïda Isabelle Anne Noël, and I’m a sophomore at Howard University, declaring a major in International Business with a Minor in Foreign Policy and Political Science, and I am on a pre-law track. I've created this fundraiser to help aid my return to Howard University next semester! Howard has not only become my second home, but a place where I’ve grown as a purpose-driven woman, scholar, and changemaker.

A Quick Overview- This summer I decided that to take a few extra classes to stay ahead and give myself more flexibility for the years to come and to ensure that I would be able to join the School of Business as soon as possible. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected miscommunication regarding those summer courses, I was charged a significant withdrawal fee — even though I dropped the classes within 24 hours of registration opening. Due to this, with all the fees combined from this summer, I now have a balance of $14,385. In order for me to be able to register for my classes that number must reach under $5,000 and at $0 to obtain housing. I've been adamantly applying to scholarships to cover this cost however, with scholarships being extremely competitive, I am concerned about the portion they will be able to cover. Attending Howard has meant so much more to me then simply attending the #1 HBCU in the country. It truly has taught what it means to be a woman of power and leadership. Howard has shaped me in ways both seen and unseen, and I would be so honored if you would be willing to help support and continue my academic journey at the one and only HU.

As the President and Co-Founder of the Esther Funds Foundation’s @Howard, I’ve dedicated myself to helping prevent college dropouts throughout the DMV by providing mentorship, resources, and financial assistance to those in need. But now, I find myself in a similar predicament that both me and my team have been helping others overcome.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will help me take another step toward returning to campus, completing my degree, and continuing to serve my community. Thank you all so much for your love, generosity, and belief in me. Your support truly means the world.
