On December 14, 2019, 8-year-old Aaliyah Shepard was severely burned when her sequined shirt exploded in flames as she reached over a candle, suffering 3rd degree burns over 25% of her body, from her rear to her head, front and back torso, arms, hands and foot. She suffered extreme burn trauma and was life flighted to the University of Utah burn center.
Aaliyah has had seven operations thus far, with the eighth operation will take place November 2. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to pay for Aaliyah's needs, continuing operations and transportation of 10-hour round trips to the hospital. They are in desperate need of help now.
