The beginning of their story ;
Phoenix, Rouge & Lila

A couple of weeks ago, Dr Gordon received a call by a concerned dog owner. Her dog had a litter of puppies and three of them had trouble using their front legs. As they pulled the puppies out of their car, it was obvious what the issue was. The puppies were immediately surrendered to the rescue as it was apparent that the care they needed couldn’t be provided in the home they were in.

The first physical exams and radiographs showed that all three puppies were born with severe angular limb deformities with incomplete development of the elbow joints. Foster care wasprovided first by Dr Gordon herself, then by a loving foster family.

We have since made many phone calls and are in contact with many specialists. Lots of recommendations were made by many doctors and specialists including amputation, prosthetic limbs, wheelchairs, carpal braces.

We are waiting for an appointment with OSU as they think that they are capable of giving allpuppies working legs by surgically correcting their deformities.

Whichever route we choose, the cost will end up being $3,000-$5,000 per puppy.

We want to give them a fighting chance of life ❤️ Please help us in giving them a chance to live without pain.

The mom has been spayed and all other siblings are well.
