Hi, my name is Chantel, and I’m the founder of Hello Beauty, a vending machine company created to solve a problem many college students experience but rarely talk about.
We are currently placed on three college campuses, and students love it. Hello Beauty has also been featured on ABC News and Good Morning America, highlighting the real need for inclusive access on campus.
On college campuses across the country, students can easily access snacks, drinks, and school supplies. When it comes to beauty and personal care products made for Black, Brown, and textured hair, the shelves are often empty or the products do not exist at all.
I experienced this first hand.
Students rushing between classes, checking campus stores, asking friends, and still coming up empty handed. Not because they were unprepared, but because the products they needed were never available in the first place.
That gap is an access issue.
What Is Hello Beauty?
Hello Beauty is a beauty supply vending machine designed specifically for college campuses. Our machines are stocked with inclusive hair, skin, and personal care products that reflect the diversity of today’s student population.
We do not replace campus stores. We fill in the gap.

Why We’re Fundraising
We are fundraising to support Hello Beauty’s continued expansion and participation in the NAMA Show 2026, the largest vending and micro-market conference in the country.
Attending NAMA allows us to:
- Secure national partnerships
- Scale Hello Beauty to more campuses
- Reduce costs and increase machine access
Funds raised will help cover:
- Travel and exhibitor fees
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Production and scaling of additional machines
Why This Matters
This is not just about beauty products.
It is about equity, representation, accessibility, and student dignity.
Students should not have to leave campus, miss class, or feel overlooked just to access basic personal care products made for them.
