Hi everyone, my name is Heaven. I am a freshman at Winona State University, and my declared major is Film Studies, with a minor in Business Management. I am starting a fundraising effort to help me cover my remaining balance for my semester.

I would like to first share with you all my amazing journey from high school to college. I attended Blaine High School in Minnesota. During my time in high school, I took advantage of the PSEO (Pathway to Early College) program offered by my school. This opportunity enabled me to take college courses while still in high school.

I also worked a part-time job to save up to buy my first car as I was thinking of making my college life more manageable. Because I took the opportunity provided to me through the Early College pathway, that opened up doors for many scholarship opportunities for me.

I started my college education this fall of 2025, and about 80% of my tuition has been covered through grants and scholarships. I am very grateful for this. My total annual tuition is 22k and breaks down to 11k a semester. I currently have a balance of $3298 that still needs to be covered. I am starting this fundraising effort to help me pay off my current balance. Part of my emergency is that this balance of $3298 has to be paid by September 25th, 2025, for me to continue with my classes.

I am doing this due to the fact that I come from a single-parent household. My mother has been one of my biggest supporters. She tries to help where she can, but she also has my 5-year-old twin siblings to support. I am kindly asking for your financial support. No amount is too big or small.

I am currently looking for a part-time job to help me not only cover this expense but to keep me afloat as I continue to navigate my new path of young adulthood.

I am so grateful for everything I have been blessed with thus far in my life, by immediate and extended family members, and also sometimes by angels like you who show up in my time of need.
