My name is Heath, and I’ve been in recovery for three years now. I’m a father to a seven-year-old and a fifteen-year-old, and every day I’m reminded of how much they deserve a future full of opportunities. For a long time, I didn’t have any trade skills, and I’ve realized that if I don’t make a change now, nothing will get better for me or my kids. I want to give them every chance at a good life, including access to schooling and the support they need to thrive.

I know my position in life is my responsibility, and I’m working hard to do better. That’s why I’ve decided to go to trade school. I’m asking for help not just for myself, but for my children’s future. The funds raised will go toward tuition, the tools I need for my training, and a laptop so I can keep up with online classes while I continue working.
