Hola, mi nombre es Carlo Rosato Leon, hijo de Carlo Rosato Savino; mi padre es oriundo de la ciudad de Bari Italia, llegó a Venezuela en el año 50, se instaló y formo familia, laborando en Imprenta familiar hasta ahora y sigue laborando dentro de la dura situación que todo el mundo conoce. Hace 15 años, fue operado y le colocaron dos stent debido a obstrucción en las arterias.
En marzo del 2020, tuvo un infarto isquémico y a Dios gracias fue controlado a tiempo. Para el momento se le realizó un cateterismo exploratorio con coronariografía selectiva, donde se detecta: enfermedad arterial coronaria obstructiva significativa del 99% en 3 vasos principales (DA, CX y CD) Y 1 vaso secundario (R1-gran calibre-).
Con este diagnóstico, nos recomendaron realizarle una CIRUGÍA DE REVASCULARIZACIÓN MIOCARDICA PARA TRES VASOS EVALUACIÓN POR CIRUGÍA CARDIOVASCULAR y para la fecha, el mundo entró en Pandemia a raíz del Covid-19 y con todo lo que esto implicó se intentó realizar el procedimiento con nuestro seguro de salud (de hace 23 años, el cual tenía cobertura a todo riesgo) SANITAS VENEZUELA, sin embargo, en ese momento y hasta la fecha no nos dieron respuesta efectiva dada las circunstancias, y la única opción (OBLIGADA) que nos brindaron fue cambiar de Seguro a CAREPRO MEDLIFE, con otras condiciones nada favorables y limitado a $10.000 por patología y a su vez cambiando el tipo de moneda (de Bolívares a Dólares).
Hace tres semanas con el cambio antes mencionado, se retoma el caso con todos los impedimentos de movilidad que existen actualmente en el país y el médico indicó que el procedimiento tiene un costo que oscila entre $54.000 y $55.000 aproximadamente. En este momento, el seguro nos da un cubrimiento de $10.000; sin incluir los exámenes pre-operatorios, solicitudes de presupuestos en diferentes Instituciones de salud y cuidados post-operatorios, etc.
Par nosotros es humanamente imposible conseguir este dinero, por lo que la única esperanza de vida para mi padre esta en apelar a su humanidad y colaboración. Por todo esto, se recurre a la Campaña para poder recaudar (sino todo) gran parte del dinero para poder realizar con URGENCIA la operación y darle a mi papá unos años más de vida.
