Hearing Aid for Deaf Boy in Kenya

Hi there!
My name is Sayydah Garrett and I run a 501C3 registered charity called Pastoralist Child Foundation. I go to Kenya every summer to run workshops for children in Samburu County. I met a young boy in 2014 when our organization held an "Olympics Day" for children in villages. His name is Utalii Lepeto. His friends and family call him "Tony." Tony is 15 years old and profoundly deaf. He has never had the joy of hearing his mother's voice, his siblings' voices, his friends' voices - not a sound or musical note since birth. Tony's friends and family adore and protect him. His family is very poor, struggling to make ends meet. I'm asking for your help to buy Tony a hearing aid and pay for his tuition and boarding at a school for the deaf. Imagine how much easier Tony's life would be if he could hear. I visited Tony and his family in August, 2015 and 2016. The academic year in Kenya begins in January. Due to financial constraints, Tony wasn't able to attend secondary school this year. Let's help him start in January, 2017!! Let's get Tony a hearing aid! He really deserves a life with the ability to hear all the sounds he has missed in the last 15 years....music, birds chirping, friends laughing. Tony loves to play soccer. Imagine him hearing his friends yell, "goal!" when he scores!!
