Update: Camie is having issues with her implant that helps her hear. We might have to remove it altogether. This dog will be a big part in her everyday life to navigate the hearing world.
We got the call that her service dog is ready!!! If we can raise the money by October!!!
Here is the amazing organization we are getting her service dog from:
Cares,Inc.
PO Box 314
Concordia, KS 66901

Caresks.com
You can also donate directly to them by calling and giving Cameron Sefcik’s name.
Camie is a 17 year old senior in high school. She is also deaf. She plans to study business management and culinary after graduation. Moving into a dorm will be difficult without a service dog. This service dog will be her ears when someone is at the door, if an alarm goes off, if someone calls her name, walks up to her, and will wake her up in the morning.
The service dog will be her ears and will provide independents and safety for her to live on her own.
We will be forever grateful and thankful for any and all help making this possible.
