Hello everyone, I am launching this campaign on behalf of myself. After many years of struggling through my transition I have finally found a short window of time to pursue top surgery. This year is one of my last chances to fight for this essential procedure before the barriers make it harder in the future.

I'm looking to secure at least $8K by this July so that the basic costs of surgery and recovery can be covered. I come from an evangelical christian background so family support is not in the question, and my strained relationship with my parents has made the past few years difficult to navigate mentally, emotionally, and financially. My dysphoria, although immensely better after a few years of HRT, still causes lingering mental distress that will only be alleviated with this expensive procedure. I'm hoping that I can raise enough money in time to take advantage of the little time I have this year and the leap of faith I am taking in order to feel closer to being happy. To be transparent, most of the funding for the surgery will have to be from crowd funding, so I appreciate any and all help.
