Our beloved FireHawk is on another journey !!  


This time... he is learning more about his heart and as you know... when FireHawk learns, we all learn!  

Here are his words on this part of the journey...

"Back in October last year I had another stent placed in my right coronary artery, to make more space for my blood to flow. The added wrinkle to this part of my heart journey is that I've been having Atrial Fibrillation on and off since October. 

I've learned so much in my 17 years of walking with my heart disease. What is clear to me now is that there is an opportunity with some of the newer "holistic" therapies and a complete shift in my diet for me to significantly reverse the heart disease process. This is my quest."  FireHawk

For more than seven years, FireHawk has been my beloved Teacher and Mentor of The Origin Teachings of the Delicate Lodge.   For more than three years, I have been living with he and Pele Rouge and the three of us have become a wonderful, loving community.   

Living with FireHawk is always an adventure!  
When he recently discovered the resource of a relatively new, alternative treamtment for heart disease called chelation,  I was totally for it!! (contact FireHawk if you want to know the technical details)

Unfortunately, none of the cost of this alternative treatment is covered by his existing medical insurance and convential treatments tend to be much less holistic. 

I don't know about you... but whenever asked, I always try to respond to the needs of family and friends when a health need arises.  

And then I realized... I'm the one who that should put out the call and give FireHawk and Pele's friends and family the opportunity to respond.

I'm trusting that this effort will be super successful so I encouraged FireHawk to begin treatment as soon as possible. 

The alternative, holistics series requires 30 sessions and cost $240 per session = $7,200.

A goal of $8,500 will provide 30 successful treatments, plus followup, medications + campaign cost.

I know he has certainly given my heart jolt after jolt of much needed love and I'm thrillled to have the opportunity to give back!!
