Have a Heart . . . valve.
Donation protected
OPEN HEART SURGERY is necessitating my very first visit to the hospital. "Go big, or go . . ." well in my case, into a continuing decline of cardiovascular function. After years of monitoring my condition, it has been determined that heart valve repair is the best option for me at this point.
This 'valve job' will have me back up to 100% capacity for the first time in almost 7 years. Full recovery is anticipated in 3 months. If I delay, my condition will continue to deteriorate, and the only option will become valve replacement. Replacing the valve is far more invasive, requires a longer recovery, and presents greater complications long-term.
I am asking you, as my friends to please contribute anything you can toward off-setting the financial burden of the impending medical bills, as well as the loss those wages occurring outside the scope of my disability plan. On behalf of the whole Chiles family, THANK YOU in advance for your consideration, and any generosity you might have the good fortune to share.
