Help Us Lay Victor To Rest in Santa Barbara

Update: Victor sadly passed away on August 2nd at 11:45am. He leaves behind many broken hearts, but most importantly a boy is left without his dad. Please help us give Victor a proper burial and service by donating toward his funeral expenses. Victor was admitted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital June 2021 for Iron deficiency anemia and that is where they discovered that he has end stage liver disease (ESLD) His anemia was treated, and he was discharged a few days later. On July 11th 2021 Victor's health took a turn for the worse and was readmitted back to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital's ICU. This is when the fight for his life began. Victor has liver failure and will die without a liver transplant. He was transferred to Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, he is in the hands of the liver transplant team with Dr. Ishak. Victor has undergone many medical test and procedures to keep him alive while he waits for a liver transplant. but his condition is rapidly declining.

We are asking for your help to cover expenses regarding this unfortunate situation. Bills and rent are pilling up, Victor lost his job when his pregnant sister almost lost her life due to Covid, while she was hospitalized fighting for her life and her unborn child's life, Victor took care of all his nieces and nephews. Now she’s on the verge of losing her job as she’s been by his side day and night traveling back and forth from SB to LA at all hours of the day in a car with no AC. The truth is no one knows how much this will cost at the end of it, but if you can help with any amount, it will help cover Victors costs as he continues to fight his battle and also when he wins the battle as he will need 24hr care as his body adjusts to a new organ. We understand times are tough and if you are unable to help financially please help us with a prayer.

Victor is a loving father to a 9yr old boy. He is a wonderful brother, uncle and a friend. Victor has been a dear friend of ours for over 16 years. He has a whole life to live at the short age of 34. We look forward for him coming home so he can continue being a dad to his son for many more years, a role model to his nieces and nephews and the amazing, funny friend many of us know him to be.
