Doug's only brother Dave Noland has lost EVERYTHING. As you can see from the photo - his house is completely underwater. He escaped with his three dogs and his truck. His entire life is in that house. Every piece of Furniture, Electronics, Mmemorabilia, Keepsakes, Photos, All important paperwork, etc........ He also had a small lawn mowing side business and inside the garage sits his commerical lawn equipment, Power Tools and a Polaris Ranger. Every Single Thing - ruined.
The worst part is he has ZERO flood insurance. He was told it wasn't a requirement because he wasn't in a "flood zone". He is faced with the task of a complete rebuild of his life - all the while continuting to make payments on many of the things that are lost. Daunting task to say the least!
He works for the phone company in Beaumont & they are working him 12 hours a day - 7 days a week for the forseeable future to help get Beaumont put back together - so he has no time to get his own life figured out.
We feel utterly helpless. So many have asked us what they can do to help - After much thought - we decided to set this page up for him.
Please - do not feel any obligation - but if you are looking for a place to help HARVEY VICTIMS - and hesitate to send money to a general fund - here is a specific need you could consider helping with.
Dave is such an amazing man - Funny, Kind, Giving, Caring, Hard Working, and much more - he is very deserving of our help.... He is also VERY PROUD and would never ask for help - he is probabaly going to freak when he finds out we are doing this for him!
Thank you so much - please share this with anyone you know that may be willing to help.
** In addition, - if you are an industry friend of Dougs & feel compelled to help - please consider donating anonymously or use first name only. We want to avoid any misperception of impropriety.
With Love,
