Harry Potter World Trip!

Five years ago, a group of seventh grade students that needed to improve their reading skills joined my Harry Potter Book Club. They stayed after school and came in during lunch over the years, falling in love with Harry Potter and falling in love with reading. They take turns reading aloud and answering comprehension questions. I have been so impressed to see their reading fluency and understanding of the text improve over the time we have spent together! 

My Harry Potter Book Club students are now juniors in high school and are about to  finish the final book! We want to celebrate by going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando to see the story we love so much come to life. My students are low income students that would not be able to afford this experience on their own, and I hope that together we can provide the trip of a lifetime to reward them for all of their hard work!

The donated money will cover air fare, hotel, and park tickets for my students.
