An electrical fire completely burned the house, vehicles and all belongings of Lelia Dell Harris and her husband Joe on December 5, 2017. On Sunday, January 7th, Lelia Dell lost her husband Joe as he passed away after over 30 years together. 

Lelia Dell is a lifelong Starkville resident/former MSU employee and she needs our help to get back on her feet. The architecture firm of Shafer Zahner Zahner and the construction company of Ben Heath have volunteered their time to rebuild her a smaller version of her former home. Without any help from insurance, the purpose of this Go Fund Me is to help raise money for the necessary building materials to build the house as well as clothing, food and other essentials.
