Hi, my name is Harley and I was nominated to be a delegate for the state of Maine at the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders this year. The Congress is a three day trip where I get to meet Nobel peace prize winners, and many other famous people. This whole trip is for kids interested in continuing a career in a science or math related field. It’s a very prestigious trip, especially considering that you have to have a  3.5 GPA to be allowed to go. My GPA is 4.0, and I’m very dedicated to my school work. I cannot wait until I can go on this trip because I know it will be a life changing experience for me. Thank you so much for helping me reach my dreams.

Harley has been nominated as a delegate to represent the state of Maine at the Congress of Future Science & Technology Leaders. This is a prestigis nomination given to students for academic excellence.
It is a highly selective national program honoring academically superior high school students dedicated to careers in science, technology, engineering or math.

Students are selected for recognition because of their outstanding academic record, leadership potential and deisre to contribute to the field of science or technology.

Harley will travel with other students to The National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists at Harvard University, in Cambridge, MA in June.

While there they will meet:
* Winners of the Nobel Prize
* Deans of the worlds top 10 universities
* World leaders in science
* Award winning yound inventors & scientists 

Harley will also meet Buzz Aldrin, NASA Astronaut &  the science director at NAFST

This honor is a fantastic opportunity but also a very expensive one. We are asking family & friends to help us raise funds to send Harely to participate in this once in a lifetime program.
