Support for Harland’s 2nd Heart Surgery❤️
Donation protected
Harland was born with a rare, severe heart condition called HLHS that affects only 1-2 babies out of 10,000. These babies are lovingly referred to as "blue babies". At only 8 days old, this little fighter endured his 1st of 3 required open heart surgeries.

Without the necessary treatment, the life expectancy for an infant with HLHS is a few days to a few weeks at most. With surgical treatment, the survival rate to age 5 is 72%, after which the survival rate for people reaching the age of 18 is approximately 90%. The oldest person to survive HLHS is in their 30s.

Brandon (dad), Ariana (mom), Harland, and the extremely large team who cares for him are all preparing for the next surgery, which will happen in April.
These donations will help make up for lost wages & help with deductibles & co-pays. From what I understand, even with the excellent insurance Ariana has through her employer, Lee Health, they have already paid more than $10,000 out of pocket for Harland's expenses in just over 4 months. Now they will be out of work, once again, and 2-hours from home.
Most importantly, these funds will allow them to take a couple breaths and know that they can financially afford to spend every moment they can with Harland at a time he needs them most, and not simply be thinking "I have to go back to work even though he still needs me".
If he's this cute & happy already with half a heart, Imagine Harland's smile when his heart is FULL.
Thank you so much for your prayers, your shares, and, if your budget allows, your donations.
