Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for the cost of my medication expenses that my insurance will not cover. Since Sunday night I’ve been staying at Kaiser getting treatment for various problems in my kidneys including an abscess, E. coli, and an early mild form of sepsis. But with good care from my doctors and nurses, I’ve healed up well enough to be able to finally come home and self administer my antibiotic fluid through a midline catheter in my arm. However, that is the thing my insurance does not want to cover… my daily antibiotics, the saline solution to flush my midline and the pump I need to administer the antibiotics.
The hospital will not release me home until I am able to pay the at home medication costs that again, my insurance will not cover at all. I will not be able to go back to work or see my friends and family for 2 weeks because of this…Unless I cover the out of pocket cost. The funds raised here will be used as payment towards all at home medical expenses. Being out of work that long will add serious stress to the upcoming bills I will have to pay in order to live. I’d truly appreciate any help that can come from this. I know the cost may or may not seem like a lot but it’s a price I’m not able to pay on my own at the moment. I’m extremely grateful to anyone that has read this far and decides on donating to help me with this. Thank you again:)
