Help Emma Hand‑Rear Abandoned Newborn Kittens
Every few hours, day and night, a tiny newborn kitten’s life depends on a bottle.
Hi, I’m Emma. For the last year I’ve fostered cats and lately I’ve been receiving more and more newborn kittens — some heartbreakingly left in bags on the street without their mum. These babies can’t feed, keep warm or fight infection on their own. They need round‑the‑clock hand‑rearing, vet checks and when they’re old enough, vaccinations, flea/ worming, microchips and neutering so they can grow into healthy kittens to find their forever homes.
I’m an ordinary person doing my best - but the costs are no longer ordinary. As numbers rise, I simply can’t keep up alone. Your support would make the difference to help keep these kittens safe.
Why your help matters right now
● More abandoned litters are arriving with little or no warning - typically only aged 1-2 weeks old.
● Newborns require bottle feeds every 2 hours, including through the night.
● Even with the best care, some kittens become poorly and need urgent veterinary treatment.
● Your donation means I can say “yes” when the next emergency call comes in.
Where your donation goes (typical costs)
● Kitten milk formula: £75 per week per litter
● Bottles/teats & syringes: £10–£20 per set (replaced frequently for hygiene)
● Heat pads/thermometers/scales: £20–£40 one‑off
● Vet health checks: ~£40–£60 per kitten
● Parasite treatment (worm/flea): ~£10–£15 per kitten
● Emergency care/medication/fluids: £250 + as needed
● Vaccinations (primary course): ~£60–£90 per kitten
● Microchipping: ~£30-£35 per kitten
● Weaning food & litter: £80 per week per litter
I will share regular updates with photos, weights, and a simple cost breakdown so you can see the difference you’re making.
