We've named him Hanani, ( God's grace and mercy)
He is soon to be 5 months old. He wieghs 7.7lbs.
In October he was brought into an orphanage in Northern Vietnam weighing just 6 lbs. After a medical exam he tested postive for a condition that will need daily medication. Without that medication, he has a 30% chance of living until his first birthday. Until he is home here in Canada he will not have this medication.
We are a family of 10 soon to be 11!
My husband Luke and I have 8 children home here on Vancouver Island...
In the summer of 2013 we brought our youngest two boys home from the DR Congo, weeks before the government stopped adopted children from leaving.
We thank God everyday that our boys are home with us.
100% of these funds will directly go towards our adoption fees to bring Hanani home. We hope to travel as soon as possible.... hopefully by March 2016. Our team is working hard to expedite the process.
We believe every child is worth fighting for.
Your support not only helps our baby boy Hanani come home, but it also shows our children who've waited for a family, that people really do care.
Each person that helps us bring this precious baby home becomes part of his story.
Thank you just doesn't seem enough.
As our story unfolds we'll keep you posted.
Check back here for updates!
Waiting together,
Luke, Tash, Callista, Anika, Josiah, Zander, Mara, Elliyah, Bosco, Placide and baby Hanani
