On 12/20/2022, our neighbor’s home caught fire. We are thankful and happy to confirm that Ida and Gary were not stuck inside the home and the firefighters were able to extinguish the fire safely.

Ida and Gary have lived in their home since the community was established in 1979 and as you could imagine, there has been much personal loss within the structure as well as outside their home. On this day, 12/21, the Hamilton family is beginning to process what has happened and is starting the actual process of trying to figure out how to restore their home and livelihood.

I am reaching out to all friends, family and to our community as a neighbor and friend, to help Ida and Gary as they begin this physical, emotional, and financial process.
