Back the Blue Nevada County's Halloween Hero Fest

Hello, Family, Friends and Community Members! We're thrilled to announce that our 2nd Annual Halloween Hero Fest is happening!! Our intentions behind having this family-friendly event is to reach out to our community's youth! They need all the love and support they can get right now. Our Halloween Fest gives us the ideal opportunity to uplift, encourage, inspire and provide them with celebrations and social events they missed out on last year or require covid vaccinations in order to attend this year.

We are determined to make our Halloween Hero Fest epically unforgettable, so we have set up a GoFundMe fundraiser (www.gofundme.com/f/HalloweenHeroFest) to help make that happen! Thank you so much to anyone who can contribute! Candy donations are also gratefully accepted.

EVERYONE is strongly encouraged to dress up, but costumes are not required and anyone is welcome to attend!

Here's what we have planned so far:

• Walk-up Trick-or-Treating
• Facepainting
• Photo booth with props
• Corn hole game
• Costume contest
• Halloween Trivia
• Healthy but fun snacks and drinks to offset the massive candy intake!!

As always, we want to give out as many of our mini Blue Line flags as we can while waving all our regular flags, just like we do at all our rallies. In doing so, we're encouraging kids to love America and Back the Blue, and we're showing them why we honor and acknowledge first responders, healthcare workers and military servicemen/women as heroes... thereby communicating our beautiful patriotic message with youth and adults of all ages in a positive light!

Over 400 people came to our Inaugural Halloween Hero Fest last year and we had an absolute blast!
