On November 8 Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), the strongest Typhoon recorded, ripped through the islands of the Philippines destroying and killing everything in its path.
With an estimation of over 3,900+ people dead and 4 million more displaced, the devastation caused by Typhoon Haiyan is unfathomable. With your kind generosity, my family will allocate all donations to the IloIlo branch of Jaro Glass http://glasssolutions-jaro.com/wp/ (family owned business that survived the catastrophe) who will oversee and ensure the delivery of goods to the victims of the typhoon. Our goal is to raise money which will be used to purchase food, water, medicine and other basic necessities for survival to those affected in the rural area of Northern IloIlo and Tacloban. Currently, those area are not receiving any aid. Supplies are dangerously low, people who are still alive fear of starvation and the spread of disease. Every donation given no matter how small will be a great help.
If you are in IloIlo City and would like to donate in person please deliver 1 kilo of rice, canned goods, noodles and blankets to Jaro Glass Soluations located in Supermart Tubac Suba, Jaro Glass Delgado in Delgado St., KS Glass Aluminum Fronting and Servitek Carwash Express in Grand Plains Subd. Or contact King or Gwen Hervias at 0920-968-69-44.
We hope to raise money until real aid arrives to help the victims.
Prayers and your capability to raise awareness is just as powerful. From the depths of our hearts, me and my fellow Filipino community would like to extend our deepest gratitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
