With much anticipation and deep thought... We are excited to announce the launch the OFFICIAL #HaierProfitsHigherWages fundraising account. With your help, WE can make a LEGITIMATE push to achieve the LANDMARK contract our community deserves. With an average donation of approximately $33.00 (anything helps), we can disperse shirts, signs, and stickers to 150 people, packaging and delivery will also be included. Everything will be transparent, ALL funds will go towards the cause! This will further advance our worker-led movement to regain the dignity and respect that we ALL deserve! Inside Appliance Park, in our city, and BEYOND.

We are a worker-led grassroots campaign looking to hold Haier (GE) Appliance Park in Louisville, KY, accountable. We do this by getting out and engaging the community, spreading awareness and education, through in-person efforts and a concentrated social media presence.

Hourly workers are constantly being bullied and censored on the factory floors of Haier (GE) Appliance Park. Many have to rely on government assistance just to make ends meet because they're living on poverty wages. Meanwhile, Haier's profits continue to skyrocket. Haier (GE) Appliance Park purges out workers frequently to feed their mass hire, mass fire model. Migrant workers are being exploited; they're not given adequate resources or tools needed to succeed in the workplace, the responsibility falling on other hourly workers. Many have to fend for themselves and face the consequences later. These are just a few examples of the ugly side of Haier (GE) Appliance Park.

Haier pretends to be a sparkling corporate citizen, but the reality is they're far from it. With a new contract on the horizon at the end of this year, it's time Haier stops acting like a great place to work and actually becomes one. That starts with a LANDMARK contract offer, with substantial improvements for workers across the board. As we have said, this is about more than dollars and cents, this is about DIGNITY and RESPECT.

We want this to work for ALL, but that will require Haier (GE) Appliance Park to step up to the plate with REAL change. We will NOT be bought with Accelerated Cash Payments (ACP), we will NOT be manipulated with hollow offers or corporate tricks, we will NOT give up something to gain something... NOT THIS TIME!
