What is the IWA International Assembly?

The International Women’s Alliance (IWA) is an anti-imperialist global alliance of militant grassroots-based women’s organizations committed to advancing national and social liberation and gender equality.

As we experience multiple crises around the world including economic, climate, and social--women & nonbinary people bear a disproportionate burden because of the national and social oppression we face around the world.

At the International Assembly, we’ll hear from global speakers, organizers, and political leaders about the historic role women have played in the anti-fascist and anti-imperial struggles, and organizing being done by women’s organizations around the world.

Why the IWA International Assembly Matters

The International Women's Alliance (IWA) Assembly is a pivotal event that unites women and gender-oppressed people worldwide to strategize and fight against oppression and exploitation. By attending, our delegates will build stronger alliances and work to advance the class struggle for women's liberation internationally.

As an organization focused on advancing the class struggle of nationally oppressed and gender-oppressed people within the US imperialist core, building a broad anti-imperialist united front allows us to strike with a single fist across continents towards a shared goal.
