Heart of it All Fashion
About Us
Heart of it All Fashion is a group of Ohio State students who have identified the need to culminate the state’s fashion innovators into one event in Columbus to assist with the prominence of our state’s image in the industry. The purpose of Heart of it All Fashion is to not only provide a platform for designers, fashion institutions, clothing brands, boutiques, and blogs; but to serve as a vessel for aspiring talent throughout Ohio to showcase their talents in a cohesive effort to contribute to the emerging fashion capital of the Midwest.
Created and organized by two fashion and retail studies students at The Ohio State University, the founders had a vision to add to the fashion culture of Ohio by creating a platform for students, designers, brands, photographers, videographers, models, hair and makeup artists and the entire fashion community to create culture in one space.
Comprised of a committee of over 50 other Ohio State students, Heart of it All Fashion has been divided into 4 sub-committees: Model, Marketing, Outreach, and Event Planning.Together, the team is working to ensure the Heart of it All Fashion Experience will be nothing short of great. April 24, 2015:
Art Exhibit
The Art Exhibition will be the first event of the weekend. We will highlight and display the work of creatives, artists, and visionaries from Ohio or based in Ohio who use their talent to fuse the culture of our state with their visual art. The event structure is an interactive gallery and all work will be on display alongside live music and artists. All visual artists, painters, sculptors, photographers and others are welcome. We look forward to working with you! Spread Love OHIO.
April 25, 2015:
HOA Avenue
HOA Avenue is the second event of the fashion experience. It will house hundreds of vendors that are from or based in Ohio. Our event will feature your favorite shoe vendors, jewelry vendors, pop up shops, and food vendors for when you decide you need a snack while cruising down HOA Ave. Be sure to come out and support local.
Street Wear Fashion Show
The Street Wear Show is the third event of our fashion weekend. Here, we will shift our focus to the urban wares of Ohio. This event will be packed with designs from established and emerging Street Wear brands, businesses, and boutiques. They will feature their latest lines and recent trends within this fashion community. This show will be packed with high energy and a few surprises. It's a show you surely do not want to miss!
April 26, 2015:
Cut & Sew Show
The final and culminating event of the Heart of it All Fashion Experience will be our Cut & Sew fashion show. Up-and-coming designers from across Ohio will be carefully selected to ensure this event showcases the best of our talent. This show will feature style and grace, to allow the viewers to carefully examine each garment that touches the runway. It will be held in one of the most prestigious rooms at the Ohio State University, the Archie Griffin Ballroom.
All funds raised will benefit hundreds of artists, visionaries, and creatives at our Fashion Experience. They will be used for room and equipment costs for our 4 events. We thank you in advance for your generosity in helping our cause. Continue to Spread Love Ohio.
